Overview of the role
As a Talent Acquisition Manager your overarching role will be to attract, recruit and onboard excellent talent into Black Sun, managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle.
The role entails efficiently supporting the full recruitment cycle as well as creating and maintaining a database of potential candidates of interest to the Company; supporting the full range of recruitment activities and completing recruitment administration tasks.
The successful candidate would also aspire to continue their personal development, keep up to date with HR and recruitment news, articles, and best practices. While also taking advantage of the range of opportunities available for developing the role and responsibilities.
You will truly have the chance to get involved in every aspect of talent attraction and retention. For this, we’ll need an extremely organised, highly motivated and charismatic individual with a real interest in developing their career in a very busy and growing organisation. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills; possess a great phone manner; be able to multi-task; have a sense of accountability; and have a positive and enthusiastic approach to their work and a 'can-do' and 'roll up your sleeves' attitude to getting the job done.

Our new Hybrid way of working
Over the last 12 months, the way in which we work has changed. We surveyed and engaged with our staff to learn about what Black Sun’s future of work looks like, and thanks to everyone’s positive engagement and feedback, we developed a hybrid way of working, governed by three fundamental principles: Colleague, Client and Culture. This means that however you decide to deliver work, you should protect all of these 3 C’s. After a period of onboarding, employees have the ability to work from home, office and, where applicable, on-site with clients. The number of days is dependent on teams, role, time of year and deliverables.

Black Sun has very effective business continuity plans which we have implemented that have enabled us to continue to operate effectively since the outbreak of COVID-19. These plans are continually reviewed at weekly BCP meetings chaired by the Group CEO and updated where necessary.

Upon joining, you’ll be eligible for 25 days holiday per year (pro-rated if you join mid-year). Two additional discretionary ‘bonus’ days are awarded for long service, up to a maximum of 27 days’ holiday.

After three months at Black Sun, you will be enrolled on the company’s group personal pension scheme. The company will contribute 3% of salary to the pension scheme, and you will need to contribute a minimum of 5%.
